The Boy Can Eat

Ready to make a happy plate!

That's more like it! Piper likes to scavenge and Britton has already learned to drop a few pieces (on purpose) down for him. ;o) It is nice, though, not to have to sweep up every time Britton sits down for a meal.

We have been blessed with a great eater! The boy can take all of this down. And then eat some fruit and cheerios. On his place this night were carrots, tortellini, veggie pancakes (broccoli & asparagus), roasted chicken, and grilled cheese cut into little pieces so his two teeth can get it all down.

Ok guys, as a Early childhood therapist that works with a lot of kids who needed a head start with therapy, I am so shocked with this eating! Praise the lord! Not even one year and look at that plate of food and variety of textures and I assume he finger feeds with a pretty typical pincher grasp! Love it!

Wow! Yes, he took off with the finger foods when he was 8 months old or so, and has had a good pincher grasp for months now. His Mother's Day Out caretakers say he is the best eater in the class. I will say, though, that I have worked on trying to offer quite a variety of foods, tastes and textures. It may not have much to do with me, but he is a fabulous eater! So thankful...
