S A - T U R - D A Y Night!

I tell you what, this kid is about as cute as they come. Our nurse yesterday pointed out his good looks and reminded us that not all babies are cute! :) Emily and I both agree he already has us beat on the "good looks" department, although Em's running a tight race with him--both are gorgeous! :)

As for updates today, he is now up to 50 ccs per feeding which is great considering he was on 10 just a couple of days ago. He also came off his nasal cannula completely. The doctor is pulling back his anti-seizure medicine as well.

It's been a great day and daddy got to hold him for a long time. I began going over the past national championships with the Texas Longhorns focusing on the 2005 campaign with Vince Young. Britton should be able to execute the Zone-Read Offense by the time he's 18 months. I thought you might enjoy this memory--Britton's mommy & daddy and Gigi and Pappy (or Daddy Doug, still debating) were there!:

We also had Amy back today which brings great comfort to both Britton and his parents. We've really taking a liking to her and I believe she has to us as well. All the nurses are wonderful, but she is just special. The other wild thing today was that it snowed today! We had a good dusting in the mid-morning while we were packing up and heading home. Mom and Dad finally got the boot from the hospital and are back at the house. We'll now have a tad longer trek to hang out with Britton each day.

Side note: Please pray for Danny's good friends, Clay and Afshin as they head to India on a mission trip tomorrow (Sunday).
