Little Britton Pics

We don't have much else to report today, but thought we would share some photos from last night and this morning.

If you haven't seen this comment from one of Emily's post-partum nurses, Katie, be sure to read. How amazing that the hospital staff are keeping up with Britton's story?! One of the hospital administrators came to visit us today in the NICU and said he had heard about our little "miracle baby." He certainly is that!

We were visiting Britton in the NICU yesterday when another baby here coded at birth. He/she is now on the cold therapy blankets (this makes only the 4th or so baby at this hospital to be on this treatment). In light of Britton's progress, we are so hopeful for this little baby, and hope to be able to talk to the parents at some point.

The little thinker.

Bonding time with Dad.

Our friends who have visited Britton can't believe how small he is. Apparently, he looks a lot bigger on the Internet. You can tell his size a bit as compared to Danny's hands.

Staring at his Mama.

Goodnight kiss.

God is so Good. I have continued to pray and follow the Giiffen Blogg on Little Britten. He is adorable. I can't wait to get my hands on him. He is definately a Giffen. I have seen that same expression on Grandpa Doug's face before. LOL (The one with the De Plane De Plane.)
He is truely God's little miracle.
Much Love.

from the previous pictures i have thought that he was big too, but that picture where he is in danny's hands shows how teeny tiny he is. that picture is priceless!

I love these pics. He really is a tiny little guy. In the previous pics he has looked a lot bigger, but Danny's hands really show his true size. He is sooo sweet. Just makes you want to kiss all over him. He is such a beautiful boy!

I am so impressed with the nursing staff that has cared for you guys. It is such a blessing to see other nurses follow their patient's progress. You all have probably impacted there lives and you will be one of those families they will never forget. Families like you are the ones who prove to you why you do what you do.

Love to you all-
MD

I love all the pics! My kids like to look at them too. We have been telling them everything that is going on and they have been praying too. It is so awesome to see the faith in little children. It's hard to believe that mine were ever that small, but they were. How time flys. Enjoy every second! Love you guys.

Emily and Danny,

We have been praying for you guys since Chris notified us of Britton's birth. He is a beautiful baby and we pray for him to be able to go home soon so you can enjoy him all day long. Thanks for posting this blog so we can keep abreast of his progress.

Grace,
