Here is a picture from last night when he kept his eyes open for a long time! This is hard for him to do as the medicine he is on keeps him in a constant groggy state. The thing in his mouth is an airway to keep his tongue from falling back & therefore obstructing his breathing. They are thinking this lazy tongue situation is caused by a lack of alertness also due to the medicine.

He is adorable.
He looks so great!!! I cannot believe how plump and rosey he looks in these pictures. I could come up there and weep looking at his beauty! Now you truly understand those scripures about God knowing him before he was born, knitting him in Emily's womb, knowing the very hairs on his wee little head. Oh that preciuos little fanny to pat! Your blessings abound and we thank you for sharing Britton with us! Masingills
Too precious!! Did you get the photo of the "Faith is trust in things unseen" heart that we hung in our house for Britton? God is mighty and strong to save. We are so thrilled with Britton's progress, and we are praying especially for his tests tomorrow and Wednesday that they will reveal much healing. Our prayers are also tenderly offered for both of you. Lean on each other and on God.
My love,
Peggy
I am so glad that you were able to (sort of) hold Britton and give him a kiss. That is the sweetest picture! We are praying for tomorrow and praying that Britton's tongue will become stronger!
