Teething Bites

Britton is having a rough time with his teeth lately, and is currently cutting four teeth at once! He got his first two teeth back when he was nine months old, and we have been waiting and waiting for more. Finally, they are making their grand entrance. After several days of fussiness and temper tantrums, I figured out that he was cutting a tooth. The next day, I realized he wasn't just cutting one, but FOUR teeth. Poor fella. It has really done a number on him. I am hoping the worst part is over, as he has been back to his normal happy self for a few days.

In our desperation to help him feel better, we tried giving him a popsicle ...

...in the bathtub.

He was not a fan.

Think we'll stick to the Tylenol and Orajel!

Clever headline! :-) Oh, and yesterday's was, too! (Flock of Seagulls...hehe!)

Yep, at least you are getting four in at once rather than going through this four separate times like we seem to be!

Hey guys... two ideas that really work!

http://www.onestepahead.com/product/osa/307755.html

We put frozen melon, berries, pear or peach in this feeder bag and let Mimi chew on it. It soothed her for hours. We also used a rubber spatual frozen and let her chew.
Try these... Nightly motrin helped, too! Best of luck guys!

Oh, poor baby!

And we used the babysafe feeder, too. And I think the first time we tried it, I cut half of a food-cube from the freezer so it would be mushy as it melted (I think it was pear). It worked for us -- but who can tell with a sad little monster like that?

Good luck to the poor little man and his mama and daddy.

I agree on the fact that it is probably better to get four in at once rather than one or two at a time. Glad for that, for all of our sakes!

I will so try the mesh feeder with fruit or frozen fruit purée. Thanks for the suggestions!
