It's Been Two Months

We can't believe it's been two months since little Britton came into this world that very scary morning. But he is doing so great now. In the early days, we couldn't imagine in our wildest dreams that Britton would be doing this well. But he is! 

Britton had a developmental evaluation with his therapist this week, and she *amazingly* found that he was developmentally in the "2 to 4" month range. Going by his adjusted age, he only needed to be at 1 month. Thankfully, he will not require intensive therapy at this time, but will continue to receive monitory therapy. Praise the Lord for his amazing work in the life of our son!

We have been home with him now for 3 weeks, and have been loving every minute of life with him. It is so much fun just to be normal.

So, we're sharing this video on the condition that you ignore the hyena cackles in the background. Britton had quite the audience last night when he shared with us some of his smiles:
