How very precious! He's really talking to you with his eyes. Remember that the doctors have to tell you the worst that could happen, but God's Word tells us the best that can happen!!!! All this came as no suprise to the God of the universe; His Word is true; He is Britton's Healer. He is the Lord God Almighty with whom nothing is impossible!!! That's what we are speaking in our intercession and praising God for that He may show Himself to be the greatest physician and continue His miracle working power in Britton to the glory of His name. Oh, Lord, right now we humble ourselves before Your throne of mercy and grace and thank You that You have heard and are continuing to Hear every pray for Britton. We thank You for His COMPLETE recovery with absolutely NO BRAIN misfunctions of any kind whatso ever. For with Your stripes Britton's healing was purchased at the cross 2000 years ago, and we stand in the gap for him and believe you for this mighty miracle from Your loving and powerful hand. In Jesus' strong name we pray..AMEN! Much Love, Sue and Scott
WOW, that looks like one healthy baby boy--he has already hit so many milestones!!! it is also a very big deal (i know this from a couple of friends' own experiences!) that both of you are going to take (and indeed already have been taking) that little brain and nurturing it and exercising it and stimulating it for all it's worth. again, we're so happy y'all are home, and will continue praying for your precious britton (the name's always on the mind, anyhow :) love, Britton and Elizabeth Wood
When our son was very sick in the NICU, a friend monogrammed his initials on a blanket for us. As she stitched the letters B - G - D, she thought of the phrase "By God's Design" ... as surely our son's condition did not take Him by surprise. Even as our son came home and has continued to thrive, and as our family has recently grown by adoption, we rest in knowing that all of this has been By God's Design.
Britton
Britton is our little miracle boy! He came into this world on his way out of it. Born without a heartbeat, he joined the land of the living when he was nine minutes old. He has made an amazing recovery since, and is truly our beautiful, little miracle boy … our gift from God! He spends his days learning to be a sweet big brother and just generally being ALL BOY. To catch the beginning of his story, click on his picture.
Lia Katherine
Lia Kate is our precious chosen child! She was adopted from China over Christmas '09 and we are loving life with her. She is our girly girl with a particular affection for all things shoes, dresses and baby dolls. She is full of joy and laughter and our lives are richly blessed with her in it. Click her picture to read her adoption story from the beginning.
Caroline Collins
Collins is our sweet 7-month-old in China! We can't wait to bring her home. Maybe another Christmas in China?
