Bathing Beauty

We finally caught Britton at bath time! Usually bath time happens on the late night shift, so we never get to see it. Last night, however, we saw how much he enjoys being bathed. We can't wait for lots and lots of baths once he gets home! Below is a quick video of last night's bath time.

Britton is doing well today. He is up to 7 lbs., 8 oz., and is now staying awake for longer periods of time. He was awake for 5 hours straight this morning! We couldn't get him to go back down after his bottle. Not sure if he's going to be such a great sleeper. He finally dozed off and got a good hour and a half in before he woke up for his next feeding. When we left the hospital at 2 p.m., he again was wide awake. When he doesn't sleep well, he gets lots of holding time in with the nurses. Hmmm ... maybe he is catching on to this.
